Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) Florida Properties Group recently raised nearly $20,000 for kids fighting cancer at its recent Clay Shoot event benefitting the Sunshine Kids Foundation.
“It is our honor to support the brave and inspiring youth fighting this disease. The Sunshine Kids Foundation hosts a wide variety of fun trips around the country all year long so these kids can just have a blast and enjoy being a kid away from the doctors, hospitals, and treatments,” said Olivia Crumbley, Brand Strategist & Event Coordinator for BHHS Florida Properties Group and event organizer.
More than 100 participants attended the Clay Shoot event in April at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays near Land ‘O Lakes. Guests first dined on breakfast then BBQ, which was generously donated by The Holy Hog after the shoot, and could choose from silent and live auction items if desired.
“We graciously thank all who attended this wonderful event and donated generously to the Sunshine Kids Foundation”, said Crumbley.
The Sunshine Kids Foundation has offices in Texas, California, Connecticut, and Florida and treats kids aged 10-18 from cancer hospitals around the US, Mexico, and Canada to free action-packed trips.
One of the kids’ favorite trips is to the Orlando theme parks each November. BHHS Florida Properties Group has supported the organization for more than 20 years. Visit www.SunshineKids.org for more information.
