While sending the kids back to school, going school supply shopping, and prepping all of the things to get them ready can be a really exciting time… it can also be a very stressful time for families less fortunate. Purchasing all the supplies that are needed for the school year really adds up! Luckily, we have partnered with some AMAZING foundations like Metropolitan Ministries (in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties) and One More Child (in Polk County) to help ease the financial burden on families.

The Backpacks of Hope drive has been a fantastic way for our offices to collect and donate school supplies for these two foundations. Through the months of June & July, our generous agents were shopping all over and online to make sure these kids have everything they need when heading into the 2021 school year! We are so proud to have some of the most kind and generous agents on our team who love being involved in the community and giving back to those in need.

Collectively, our offices (agents and staff) rallied together and donated over 1,500 school supply items and backpacks to children who need them most! With the help of Metropolitan Ministries and One More Child, these children can start their school year off strong and not worry about not having the right supplies. Foundations like these, are heartwarming and truly make a difference in our communities! Taking that financial burden off of parents back, so that they can focus on getting everything else ready for the year is what it’s all about.

We want to thank all of our agents and staff who participated in this successful drive, we couldn’t have done it without your caring hearts and generous souls! Our company strives to give back in every way we can to our local community, we are blessed to have agents and employees that feel the same way. This is a drive that we do every summer in order to prepare for the next school year, we can’t wait until next year!
