We are ecstatic to be featuring Craft Life Brewing in our blog this month, as they won for the second year in a row, the award of “Best Brewery or Taphouse” in The Cabbies! Through February and March, the community was able to nominate their favorites in the 8 different categories and then go on to vote for the winners! The Cabbies are a nomination and award system for local businesses and people in the Tampa Bay and Central Florida area.

In 2016, Craft Life Brewing was officially founded in Land O Lakes, FL by current owners, Tim & Anita. Tim had been brewing at home for years prior to opening a taproom in Land O’ Lakes. Everyone kept telling him how good his beer tasted, including his wife, Anita. An opportunity arose to open a taproom and over the next few years, it grew into a fun place that featured not only the craft beer he created, but local bands to showcase their talent and a place for locals to gather. The community became our friends and we enjoyed some success. Alas, it outgrew the venue, and Tim and Anita finally found a suitable building in charming Hudson that included lots of natural light and more parking than the previous taproom.

Craft Life Brewing offers a wide variety of craft beer and seltzers made onsite as well as guest taps for wines and ciders and soft drinks and water for non-drinkers. They offer fun for your family and friends to gather each week with Trivia on Wednesdays, Bingo on Thursdays, a monthly Friday Handmade Market, and live music on weekends. There is plenty of inside and outside seating where families and fur babies are welcome. Several times a year there are special events and the entire calendar can be seen on their website and Facebook page.

“The primary reason people enjoy coming to Craft Life is that we are personable, non-judgmental, and open to new ideas and local causes. We feature locals as much as possible in our music, events, and causes. Like our Hudson residents, we are laid back and looking to enjoy the Florida lifestyle,” stated Tim.

When asked what his favorite part of going to work every day was, “Our favorite part of being Craft Life Brewing is getting to know our patrons. Being part of the community and being able to make friends with our people continues to be a blessing.” said Tim excitedly.
