Each year, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group hosts its annual Clay Shoot event. This year, we gathered at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays on April 10, 2026, and we are thrilled to announce that it was our most successful event yet! This year’s Clay Shoot raised a record-breaking $26,368 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation, the highest amount ever raised in the event’s history for the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing positive group activities and emotional support for children with cancer.
What is The Sunshine Kids Foundation?
Founded in 1982, The Sunshine Kids Foundation has remained committed to brightening the lives of children battling cancer. The organization provides a variety of free programs, trips, and events for young cancer patients receiving treatment in hospitals across North America. These experiences are designed to bring joy, connection, and moments of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time.
SSK Clay Shoot 2026
The annual Clay Shoot is more than just a fundraiser. It is a day where our staff, agents, business partners, and supporters come together to enjoy meaningful connections while giving back to a truly impactful cause. With camaraderie and competition in the air, participants spent the day shooting clay targets, sharing laughs, and building relationships, all while helping support children and families in need.
This year’s event marked a major milestone for our company and community, surpassing previous fundraising totals and setting a new record for dollars raised. The overwhelming support from sponsors, participants, and volunteers reflects the incredible generosity of everyone involved and the shared passion for making a difference.
The funds raised will directly support The Sunshine Kids Foundation’s mission of creating positive experiences and lasting memories for children facing cancer treatments. Through events like these, we are able to help bring moments of happiness and encouragement to young warriors and their families.
